This is a nectar bird feeder designed especially for nectar feeding birds like Tuis, Bellbirds, Kereru and Waxeyes.

The base is red to replicate the flax flowers that birds often drink nectar from. It is made of strong recyclable plastic and can handle many birds landing and feeding from it. The glass bottle has a wire handle to hang from trees.

This nectar Feeder is simple to use.  Just unscrew the glass bottle and fill with Topflite Wild Bird Nectar mix or you can just use sugar or honey and water. The best ratio for feeding is one part sugar or Topflite Wild Bird Nectar to four parts water.

Throw out any liquid not consumed after a few days to avoid it fermenting.
Dirty bird feeders are a danger to bird populations as they can spread pathogens so you should clean the nectar feeder regularly.  Thoroughly clean the feeder with gentle soap and warm water or run it through the dishwasher

Comes with a small sample pack of the nectar mix but we also sell the premixed Topflite nectar powder which contains top quality honey, natural sugars, freeze-dried pollen and a specific vitamins and minerals blend for birds.

Makes an awesome gift for bird lovers as it will encourage our beautiful native birds into the garden to feed.
