She is inspired by the beauty of Aotearoa and her collections are named after this country's landmarks - Taranaki (knit stitch pattern is inspired by the conical form of the majestic Taranaki Maunga (Mt Taranaki) and Kā Pākihi Whakatekateka o Waitaha (Canterbury plains). The Waitaha design is inspired by the chequered pattern the many paddocks make when viewed from the sky inspired this slip-stitch pattern.
