Glenn Jones is a freelance illustrator and graphic designer based in Auckland, New Zealand. After working in the design industry for two decades, Glenn now focuses on his illustration work putting his own spin on popular Kiwi culture.
He travels the country creating art works that portray and reflect New Zealand's life style and landscapes. He captures the essence of being a Kiwi well, the humour, the sights, our favourite past times and places.
Glenn lives in Auckland so he fondly depicts some of his cities best places - Rangitoto, the Sky Tower, the Harbour Bridge.
He is an avid runner, and is often seen pounding the pavements. He says 'one of the things I love about Auckland is that, even in our largest city, it's never hard to find a quiet place by the water." Here are some lovely scenes from Tamaki Makaurau.
