These fabulous earrings are made from glass.
The talented Isla Osbourne, of Wearing Glass, has handcrafted these from glass. The ear hooks are sterling silver and the body is glass. This is what Isla says about them -
'they’re made from borosilicate glass (Pyrex) tubes more usually used for scientific glass blowing, and the matches are crafted from rods of coloured soda-lime glass. After letting them cool I attach sterling silver findings and let the resin cure before adding silver earring hooks. It's a three day process and very intricate'
