These lovely little ceramic sculpture ornaments have been lovingly hand made in Kerikeri, New Zealand by family business, Arataki.
They design and produce a range of unique kiln fired ceramics. Their designs are inspired by Kiwiana & traditional Māori culture.
The three symbols are -
The Koru is an integral symbol in Māori art, carving and tattooing, where it symbolises new life, growth, strength and peace. This piece measures 8.5 x 8cm.
The Hei Matau (fishhook) represent good luck and safe travel across water. This piece measures 11 x 7cm.
The Tiki is commonly known as a good luck charm and measures 7 x 11cms.
Each small but beautifully crafted piece comes in an eco-friendly gift box, with its own meaning card and the “Made in New Zealand” label. They make a great present for an engagement, citizenship or leaving gift.
