These pounamu pendants are made from New Zealand pounamu.
Pounamu is a protective stone. It is said to keep the wearer from harm and brings harmony. It attracts good luck and friendship.
These are sourced and made by Westland Greenstone based in Hokitika, situated on the stunning, rugged West Coast of New Zealand. They are off cuts from their carved designs. They go back through the tumbler to knock off sharp edges. It is a great way to use every bit of the precious pounamu stone.
Each pendant is made from genuine NZ pounamu as certified by Ngai Tahu and each piece comes with a certificate of authentication.
The colour of of stone will range from light green to dark green. The pendants can range from 3cm to 5cm long. Each piece is different and no two are exactly the same. While we will do our best to send a similar piece they are all slightly different. Email us if need help.
