This is a simple and great fun game of fast thinking and talking.
Simply select a category and start the Gib Gab machine. The lights on the game board light up, half yours, half your competitor. You must say a word that matches the category and press your button. They must do the same. When you do this, the light begins to move forward to the opposite player.
The categories are varied - things like types of cheese, name different birds, carton characters and many others. The longer you take to say a word associated with the category the more the lights move towards your side. The winner has the gib gab lights go all the way to the other players side. It means you've been faster at coming up with category words.
You can set the lights to move either 2 seconds per light, 1 and 1/2 seconds per light, or if you're really feeling ambitious, just one second per light. The category cards are neatly kept in the back of the Gib Gab game.
