This is the Italian version of the very popular Petanque game. The object is the same - to get your ball as close to the jack or the white ‘pallino’. Each ball closest wins a point. But you can roll or throw your ball so it gets rid of the opposition's ball.
It's a great fun game, played with 2 - 4 players. Played by kids and adults, Bocce is easy to understand and simple to play, making it a firm favourite at picnics, BBQs and at the beach.
These balls are not as heavy or as big as a regulation petanque ball so they are easier for young kids to handle.
