These ceramics are lovingly hand made in Raglan by the Monster Company (who is Karla and her friendly dog and some helpers too).
These individually pieces are hand crafted from NZ clay in her cosy little west coast studio. Each piece is slightly different because they are hand rolled and drawn, that is part of their charm. They are designed to capture a time, a place or a feeling that we hope you or someone special to you can enjoy for ever and ever.
Karla has a Bachelor of Media arts majoring in Sculpture completed in 2000. She moved to Raglan from Tauranga 20 years ago when her twin boys were 1 year olds.
She says she makes pottery 'that tickles your inner happy'!
In this Pride Collection are three great pieces - Pride Rectangle which is approx 165mm x 110mm x 15mm, a Proud Disc and a Rainbow Disc, both of which measure approx100mm diameter x 10mm deep, but as all are handmade they may be slightly different.
