These small ceramic bowls are decorated with the Silver Fern Koru, Harakeke (flax) and a Ponga Koru Detail, plants commonly found in the 'bush' of New Zealand. They are designed by Jo Luping, a Wellington based ceramicist with a background in film, but made in China.
They are lovely little bowl for salt, dipping oil, condiments or jewelry. Or simply as a lovely little ornament.
The little bowls measure 10cm diameter x 2.8cm high and are a bit irregular; this is part of the organic nature of the collection.
The three designs come come boxed with an explanation about the New Zealand native plant depicted and the creator, Jo Luping.
