The Rainbow Parade - on Ponsonby Road

The Rainbow Parade, or Pride Parade as it used to be known, has been held on Ponsonby Road for many, many years.  

No matter what name it goes by the event has always been full of colour, love and diversity.  The parade showcases the variety and spirit of Auckland’s LGBTQIA+ communities and allies, with colourful floats, vibrant costumes, lively music, and infectious energy.

We at the Garden Party often join the parade or watch and cheer it on from the sideline.  We encourage the values the parade stands for - celebrating LOVE, UNITY and DIVERSITY.

It's on again this Saturday, 15th Feb, starting at Three Lamps at 7.30 and finishing at Western Park.

It really is a sight to behold!  So come along and join the fun, be part of the magic of the Rainbow Parade.
