Tea Towels as Art

We have always sold tea towels.  Sometimes dozens a day (especially if we hang them in our window) And with good reason - we stock really bright, beautiful tea towels.  They are all designed in New Zealand by local artists, designers and graphic experts.  From our well-known artists like FLOX to industrial designers.  After all the unprinted tea towel is like a blank canvas. And some are so stunning they are more like textile art than something you'd use to dry the dishes. But the beauty of them is that you can!

Plus they are light, easy to travel with, pack and send and they make a practical gift as most households use tea towels in the kitchen.

But lately, we've had some customers tell us they are going to frame the tea towels that they have purchased from us.

So we've asked them to send images.  I think you'll agree that they look fantastic.  Bold bright and very economical.  (Most of our tea towels sell between $15 and $20 each)

Next time you need to adorn a plain wall with something colourful and interesting, think of hanging a tea towel.
