These pendants are individually carved from pounamu found in the South Island of New Zealand by the skilled carvers at Mana Jade, Taupo.
Pounamu can represent ancestors, connection with the natural world, or attributes such as strength, prosperity, love, and harmony.
This shape is called the Toki or Adze and is worn as a symbol of mana, reverence, strength and bravery. They come in two sizes - approx 3.5 x 2cms (medium) and small 2.5 x 2cm.
They come with a black waxed cord that is adjustable up to 80cm long.
Each piece will vary in colour as that is the nature and beauty of pounamu. Comes with a short description.
