Pounamu is greenstone only found in the South Island of New Zealand and can represent ancestors, connection with the natural world, or attributes such as strength, prosperity, love, and harmony.
Paua Shell is only found in the clear, cold waters round New Zealand's coastline. The cold water results in the vivid hues of the shell.
