Wahine Toa Christmas Dolls

These beautiful little Wahine dolls are hand made lovingly by Hayley Tamati in Auckland. Each doll is different as Hayley hand draws the faces and Moko.  Each peg is brought to life with layers of feathers and felt, woven details and a kete with paua shell on the back.

They have long wire so they are easily hung on a tree or on the wall as a decoration.

They measure approx 15cm in length

Wahine Toa means a strong, brave, capable woman.
