Here's a new natural product that protects and keeps food fresh without using environment-damaging cling wrap.
Inspired by a school project and created by three busy Kiwi mums, Honeywrap reusable food wraps are the eco-friendly alternative to plastic wrap.
Handmade in a variety of colourful, contemporary prints, Honeywraps are made with 100% organic cotton blended with beeswax, tree resin and jojoba oil. This combination makes the cloth tacky so that it can be shaped over left over food and dishes. It looks great and can be used again and again.
Honeywraps are great for wrapping cheeses, lunches, leftovers, salads, snacks on the run and much more, and more importantly they can be re-used reducing waste and landfill.
They come in five sizes - Small twin pack- 17 cm x 20 cm, medium 27 x 31 cm, large 33 x 35 cm, extra large which is 45 x 40 cm and now there's a new Starter Pack which contains a small, medium and large size and is a great way to start to use honey wraps.
Honeywraps can be composted after they have come to the end of their life, we recommend to cut them up so they break down faster.
Help save the planet. Each Honeywraps saves 75 meters of plastic going into landfil each year.
