This gorgeous 1000 piece puzzle is based on the delicate drawings of Fanny Osbourne. Fanny lived on Great Barrier Island, over 100 years ago and was a prolific botanical illustrator, farmer and mother of 13.
Her stunning, detailed botanical illustrations are now greatly appreciated from both artistic and scientific points of view especially as some of the plants she drew are now extinct.
This beautiful puzzle features some of New Zealand's most loved plants - the Pohutukawa, Manuka, Hebe and the Kowhai.
The 1000 piece puzzle is made with soy based inks and recycled and sustainably grown timber. It measures 68 x 48cm when fully assembled. The puzzle pieces come in a soft fabric bag which fits easily in the sturdy cardboard box it comes in.
This beautiful puzzle is made possible by Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki and Lettuce Puzzles.
