Fingerless Gloves by Kate Watts
NEW DESIGNS FOR WINTER 2012.
These limited-edition fingerless gloves are 100% New Zealand Merino wool. They are made in NZ by a young textile designer, Kate Watts and handprinted with a hybrid screenprinting technique.
The fingerless gloves are warm and practical. You can still answer the phone, unlock the door and use your fingers whilst wearing them so your hands stay warm and cosy. When not needed to warm the hands you can fold them down and still wear them as cuffs for an added layer and extra warmth.
The stunning motiffs and elegant design means you can wear these day and night - dressed up or down.

Wheat Bags
These pretty cotton wheat bags are essential for cold winter nights or aches and pains.
Heat them in a microwave and use to sooth sore and tired muscles. The shape of these bags is perfect to fit across tight shoulders or a sore back.
Pumpinator
The Puminator is a fabulous toy for children. It blows up both water bombs and air balloons easily. 250 of these come in the Pumpinator along with string to tie the balloons.
Just place a balloon on the nozzle and pump the handle.
Great fun for all the kids in the family and saves parents from going dizzy from endless balloon blowing.
Jill Main Aluminium Jewellery
Local designer, Jill Main's, new jewellery collection is great to wear as it is made from ultra light aluminium. Available in either toi toi or pohutukawa design.
The cuffs measure 165 x 38mm and will fit any size because it doesn't go all the way round.
The earrings measure 15 x 20mm and are so light you don't feel them.
Mighty Wallets
These wallets are made from a single folded sheet of Tyvek. Tyvek is a recycled material made from thousands of fused plastic fibres and is very strong and hard wearing. As a result these wallets will mold to and expand with its contents, are water and tear resistant and will last for years.
The wallets have 2 pockets for cash and receipts, 2 credit card pockets that expand and 2 quick access business card pockets. The wallets measure 20 x 8 cms open and 10 x 8 cms when closed.

Paper Garlands
These beautiful handmade paper garlands from Nepal will brighten any space or room.
They are 160cms long and there are 10 rainbow coloured birds in the bird strings and the heart and butterfly strings have 14 bright coloured shapes on them.
Constructable Flash Cards
Flashcards are useful for a range of young childrens ages and abilities. These flashcards also feature slots which allow children to contrust amazing towers, tunnels and anything else they can think of. These NZ designed and made flashcards are illustrated with kiwi icons making them fun and relevant to kids from NZ.
The flashcards come in 2 flavours - alphabet or numerals. The numeral flashcards are helpful in number recognition, counting and simple calculations while the alphabet ones can assist spelling and letter recognition.
The 20 flashcards are double sided, made of thick child safe board and come smartly boxed. A great childs' gift.

Gingerdead Men Cookie Cutter
This cookie cutter is two sided - with one side you cut the cookie out and the other you make the skeleton imprint. After the cookie is cooked ice it in the bones imprint for a perfect 'gingerdead man'.

Tofu Tiki Products
Tofu Tiki is a young design company based in Auckland. They are inspired by New Zealand symbols like the tiki, fantail and the map of NZ but have added a modern twist with colour and texture.
The canvas prints measure 42 x 30cms. The luggage tags are approx 6.5 x 10cms and the tiki pouch which is great as a camera or phone case is 12 x 8cms. The magnetic bottle openers are 6cms across and are a useful gadget to stuck to the fridge - always on hand to open a cold one!
Butterflies
Gorgeous, whimsical wooden butterflies for your wall. They come in wee gift boxes of three, either in black or natural wood.
They come with adhesive dots so you can fix the butterflies to the wall.

Small Effective Smoke Alarm
The world's most smallest smoke detector. These little units use highly effective photo electrical technology, ensuring reduced false alarms from the toaster or shower steam. Jack Straws Game
This is a new version of a very old game. It was first played in the 1870's with pieces of straw. (much like pick up sticks)
This version is a retro one based on a 1950's game where the players need to pick up coloured tools (like ladders, saws, arrows etc) with a hook.
It looks different but still requires concentration and a steady hand. Good for ages 6 upwards.
